Preferences
The program is meant to be shaped to the collection it holds. A hundred discs on a shelf and twenty thousand files on a NAS want different windows, different columns and different amounts of information on screen.
This chapter covers the four things you can change: how the collection is displayed, how the window itself is laid out, what every option in the Preferences dialog does, and what plug-ins add.
If the interface is too small to read comfortably, that is the first thing to fix and it takes ten seconds: Ctrl+Num + enlarges the movie card, Movie list font in Preferences enlarges the list, and Dark theme is there if bright screens are the problem. See Customizing the interface.
